Research
Reserves provide protected environments in which researchers can conduct short- and long-term studies. The field stations are a shared resource, with tremendous capacity to support faculty, student, and community engagement projects across disciplines.
Teaching
UC Davis Reserves support classes across schools, colleges, and departments. Institutions outside of UC Davis are also welcome to bring classes to the Reserves. Talk to us about K12 opportunities as well.
Outreach
UC Davis Reserves support outreach programming directly and in partnership with other organizations. Take advantage of these programs to visit a reserve, participate as a volunteer, or create your own program.
Restoration
We restore areas across Reserves to combat invasive species, climate change impacts, and wildfire. We generally promote natural succession, but we engage in corrective efforts to ensure the Reserves capacity to support current and future research and instruction.
