Restoration

How to get involved

Left alone without active management California landscapes can quickly degrade due to invasive species, climate change impacts, and wildfire. Restoration efforts across the UC Davis Reserves attempt to preserve the sites for Research and Teaching. We generally promote natural succession, but we engage in corrective efforts to ensure the Reserves capacity to support current and future research and instruction.

If you are interested in getting outside, becoming part of a like-minded community, learning, and having fun contact us at nrs@ucdavis.edu for information on becoming involved.
