Those interested in using the reserve should contact the field station director to discuss the feasibility of the planned use. Or you may submit an online application to initiate the process.

All research, instruction, and respective visits to the field station are managed through the online application system, RAMS. Before beginning your research project please submit an application. Applications are normally processed within the week. You will also need to submit a reservation to use the reserve for each visit.

Most work will also require a permit through the NPS system that can be found here. Depending upon the nature and location of the perspective work, permits can take 1-3 months to process.
