Molly Thibado

Molly is a Master's student in the Ag and Environmental Chemistry Graduate Group. Her research so far has consisted of microbial community analysis of engineered-wetlands used to remediate old mining sites. She fell in love with fieldwork after assisting with a previous project studying microbial symbiotes as a post-fire restoration tool. After attending a Hands on the Land trip in spring of 2026 she jumped at the opportunity to join as a director, and is excited to contribute to the goals of building community, promoting stewardship, and providing opportunities for resilience through group action against the effects of climate change.
