Karla Estrada

Karla is a PhD student in the Graduate Group in Ecology, where her research focuses on remote sensing and agricultural water management. Her work sits at the intersection of science, technology, and policy, with a focus on how data-driven tools can support more sustainable and equitable water use in agricultural systems. Outside of work, Karla loves to go backpacking, running, and all things outdoors. She is excited to combine her love for nature with community engagement by creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to be involved with the outdoors and connect with others who share similar passions.
