Luis Morales first joined the NRS as an undergraduate intern in 2013. He majored in environmental studies at UC Santa Cruz, where he was able to intern and work as a steward assistant for several Natural Reserves in the UCSC network. He previously worked at the California Coastal Conservancy, Pacific Islands Regional Observer Program and as a steward for Big Sur Land Trust before joining the Bodega Marine Reserve as steward in April 2019.
